Stephen Keshi Confirms on Twitter He Quits The Super Eagles
The Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi took to Twitter to shed light on his future in the Nigerian national football team.
After the yesterday's 0-2 loss to France, the Eagles' were knocked out of the 2014 World Cup.
Following the game, the Big Boss made sketchy hints when asked about continuation of his career in the national team.
One report said he replied "I don't know" to the question regarding his coachingof the Super Eagles, another report said Keshi had quit,however his words could not be taken for the firm announcement of his leave.
Several hours later the message on Keshi's Twitter page read as follows:
Friends, it has been a good run and I have enjoyed every moment. It's been an honor coaching the SuperEagles. It is however time to bow out.- Stephen Keshi (@OfficialKeshi) June 30, 2014
