AAUA Inaugurates "Reformer" as 12th elected Student Union President

*VC demands transparent, peaceful govt from students' leaders Ikuogbebe Olusegun, popularly known as "Reformer", was on Friday inaugurated as the 12th democratically-elected president of the Students' Union Government Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko(AAUA) for the 2013/2014 academic session. It should be recalled that "Reformer" was declared president of the union in March after he polled a total of 2189 votes over 1895 votes by his opponent, Kazeem Ganiyu also known as "Icon". "Reformer" in his speech promised a students' unionism that would promote students' interest. The Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Femi Mimiko, who was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rotimi Ajayi, encouraged the inaugurated leaders to live up to expectation by imbibing "the spirit of responsibility, transparency, responsiveness, patrotism and maturity."
