2014 W/Cup: Super Eagles Arrive In Brazil

Nigeria's Super Eagles have finally arrived Brazil for the 2014 World Cup starting on Thursday, 12 June, 2014. The coach Stephen Keshi led team had left their camp venue in Florida, United States on Tuesday, 10 June, 2014. The Nigeria Football Federation had said in a statement released on Tuesday that the team would fly aboard an American Airline flight from the Miami International Airport and would land at the Guarulhos International Airport, Sao Paolo, Brazil 9pm local time. The team are expected to move to their base, Hotel Campiness, on the outskirts of Sao Paolo. The statement added that NFF president Aminu Maigari was already in Sao Paolo, for the 64th FIFA Congress scheduled to hold on June 10 and 11. The congress precedes the 20th FIFA World Cup, which kicks off on Thursday with hosts Brazil confronting Croatia in the opening match.
