Why FIFA Stops Nigerian Supporters Club From Match Venues In Brazil

Reports emanating from Brazil, venue of the ongoing 2014 World Cup indicate that football governing body, FIFA has banned Nigerian Supporters Club, as well as other nations' supporters club,from using their drums, trumpets and other instruments at the Mundial. According to the President General of the Nigerian Supporters Club, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo, the club had their instruments confiscated when they arrived Curitiba, venue of Nigeria versus Iran match on Monday, 16 June, 2014. Mr. Ladipo informed that over three hundred Nigerian supporters had stormed the venue of the match with their regalias and costumes much to the delight of Brazillian fans before they were stopped by FIFA officials from entering the Stadium. It was gathered that the FIFA officials who seized the instrument told the Nigerian supporters that they were confiscated on the ground that they constitute 'nuisance'.
