A commercial sex worker has stabbed a soldier attached to the Joint Military Task Force to death for failing to pay for her service after engaging her till day break. The soldier (name withheld), was reportedly stabbed twice with knife in the stomach by the prostitute. The unnamed prostitute is said to be a Bini lady from from Edo State.
Punch reports that the incident, which occurred about 4.00am on Tuesday, threw the popular ‘Red Light zone’ on Hospital Junction along DSP Alamieyeseigha Way, Yenagoa, into pandemonium. Most of the customers that slept over with other prostitutes in their shanties, quickly dressed up to avoid being detected by onlookers who thronged the area.
Some sex workers, who spoke with PUNCH Metro claimed that the stabbing forced the intestines of
the soldier to come out and he bled profusely.
