Super Eagles Players Demand N12m Each

The Super Eagles are reportedly asking for sum of $75,000 about N12.2m appearance fee which is the amount being paid to each of their Ghanaian counterparts by the Ghana Football Association. According to Vanguard report, the Super Eagles made their request known to the Senate President, David Mark when he came visiting them on Friday, June 13. They also requested to be relocated from their Victoria Concept hotel in Campinas to a more ideal place. They described their hotel as isolated which makes them look like prisoners unlike other World Cup teams whose Federations lodged them in better and more ideal places. David Mark was said to have listened attentively as they tabled their grievances, after which he appealed to the coaches and the players to put aside anything that would distract them from victory, while also reassuring them of the determination of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to give them the necessary support in the tournament to make Nigeria proud.
